On The Wings Of Eagles

We Will Never Fall

pillars of freedom stand tall and true
held strong and indestructable
in the hearts,minds and souls
of the red white and blue

justice freedom truth and all
in its streangth in its essance
can never crumble and fall

no destruction from a cowards attack
can ever hold our freedom back

this is to our freinds both close and far
the distance between us can never mar
the love care and freindship given between the few
to those who are amoungst us
who we are richer because we knew

lest the tide take them further than we can see
let them know that forever, they will always be
kept with in our heart, prayer and soul
untill they return amoungst us
and resume there given role

safe wishes to them we confide
bring yourself back safely, within the morning tide
cast not the sorrow tommorow may bring
and we shall live for the cherished momment
that your companionship can bring

On An Eagles Wings

up on high as the eagle flys
surveying all with its glistening eye
watching over its nations start
a continuation of its beating heart

adrift alone, so low, in the land below
built on the backs of a common goal
with immigrated populous that build the nation strong
incorporated customs that soon made all belong

and still up on high the eagle flys
chasing off  the enemy’s and those who lie
defeating oppression, suppression, depression
assuring its natural progression

its upon these shores my heart will lay
upon these shores I wish to stay
where the eagle can soar and protect the weak
its sanctuary and safety is that which I seek

let its wings unfold
protecting my children below
let them find solace, a life, a home
a cessation for the need to roam

let me fly with the eagle when my life is done
secure in the knowledge, that my children’s life......
